Which format should I use?
JPG for photos you share (small, universal). PNG for logos, screenshots and anything with transparency (lossless, bigger). WebP for websites (30% smaller than JPG at the same quality, supported by every current browser).
What happens to transparency in a JPG?
JPG has no alpha channel, so transparent areas turn white. Pick PNG or WebP to keep them.
Is there a file limit?
Files up to 60 MB each, as many as you want. Everything runs in the browser, so a very big batch just takes longer.
Does the converter change the size of the image?
No, pixel dimensions stay the same. Use the resizer to change them, or the compressor to shrink the file.
